Who is The Equine Platform (The EP)?
The EP is a platform that streamlines the process of buying and selling horses. We are modernizing the way equestrians do business by using technology to push content out to our authorized users.
What does EP do?
The EP is a ‘B to B’ (Business to Business) service, for approved trainers and brokers only. We have a team of dedicated specialists and account managers to help with every step of the buy-sell process. This includes ‘pushing’ the trainer or broker listings of horses that match their ‘looking to purchase’ criteria, to arranging for trials, vet services, contracts and completing the sale transaction.

It also includes the opportunity to list sale horses, which go through an approval process based on specific guidelines, and in turn have that information ‘pushed’ to potential buyers. Through robust database matching, our service helps send the buyer a listing as soon as there is a match.

With our expertise, The EP can also provide concierge services to assist with any aspect of the process from sign-up to signing the contract and finalizing the sale.

What do I have to do?
While this platform will ultimately to ease your workload, and streamline the buying & selling process, there is some time investment required on your part. The system will ask for you to complete details that play an important role in generating matches for buyers and sellers. The data you provide will directly affect how well the platform and the team can help you!

As a buyer, it will ensure you are matched with appropriate horses and as a seller, it increases the exposure of your horse(s), and expedites the steps of finding the right buyer by connecting you directly. EP has built a full service platform for buying & selling horses, you can be a part of it.

How do I get approved?
The approval process is simple. The platform is for professional use only so as long as you have a business where you purchase and/or sell horses you can apply. Once you provide information that indicates you are a trainer or broker, the system will generate your approval.
Where are we?
Our offices are currently located in Southern California. We are initially launching on the West Coast, but will be a global platform with plans to have hubs in all major cities as well as in Europe.
Why are we doing this?
The concept of The EP stems from the team that built a highly successful platform in a different industry, that has similarities to high-end horse sales. This combined with experiencing the frustration often associated with buying and selling horses gave us the vision to create The EP.

How much does it cost?

The Equine Platform costs $299 per year to use the site.

If you are a junior or amateur and want to advertise a horse for sale, it is $199 per horse but you will not have access to the site. An administrator will be in touch for details and to set up the trials.
